Small groups of three to four dogs. Pickup from around 9–10am, a 3-4 hour walk out in proper countryside or along the coast, then drop-back by 2-3pm — with a good towel-off on the way home.
Locations rotate across the South Downs, Cissbury Ring, and the Worthing seafront and beach, so dogs get genuine variety — different terrain, different smells, different challenges.
Walks use a mix of long lines, extendables, and controlled off-lead time, tailored to each dog in the group. There's structured play and focus work woven through the session, but also proper natural dog time — sniffing, exploring, just being a dog. The balance between the two is what makes the difference.
Groups are kept deliberately small. Three to four dogs means Chris can read every animal in the pack, manage dynamics in real time, and make sure no dog gets lost in the background. Every walk is hands-on from pickup to drop-off.
Suitable for most breeds and temperaments, including high-energy and working breeds. Dogs with a history of reactivity or anxiety are considered on an individual basis — get in touch to have an honest conversation about whether it's the right fit.
